How to Request Deletion
If you can still access your account:
- open the Choose(Me) app;
- sign in to the account you want deleted;
- go to the account or settings area;
- choose the delete account option and confirm.
If you cannot access the app or need help:
Email
privacy@trychooseme.com
from the email address associated with your account and include
the subject line Account Deletion Request.
What Will Be Deleted
When your account deletion request is completed, we delete:
- your Choose(Me) authentication account;
- your user profile and account settings;
- your in-app day plans and related account sub-data;
- account-linked code redemption records stored by Choose(Me);
- your ability to sign in and access the deleted account.
What May Be Retained
We may retain limited records when necessary for legal, security,
fraud-prevention, accounting, or compliance purposes, including:
- basic deletion request records such as the email address used to make the request, request reason, and request timestamp;
- limited subscription status information captured at the time of deletion;
- records required to resolve disputes, chargebacks, abuse, or enforce our agreements;
- billing and purchase records maintained by Apple, Google, or other payment platforms under their own policies.
Subscriptions
Deleting your Choose(Me) account does not automatically cancel a
subscription billed through Apple or Google Play. You must cancel
your subscription separately in your App Store or Google Play
account settings.
